今天是我們的圖書館日,照例搬了一週的量--近四十本書回家時,小男孩忽然告訴我一個大秘密.
"Mom, Sarah and Rachel are my second and third best friends in the summer camp."
(大姐大一號和大姐大二號是我在夏令營裡第二和第三好的朋友)
我聽的一頭霧水,疑惑的一時接不上話.好在我在開車,他看不到我的表情.忍不住問了...
"I thought they were laughing at the toothbrushing thingie and you said they were not nice..."
小男孩說 "I told them, "if you don't cooperate, I am not going to be your friend."
實在太懸疑了,我繼續問他 "Then what did they say?"
小男孩說 "They didn't say anything but they are nice to me now."
然後小男孩再告訴我一個秘密 "Mom, Sarah has something big to work on. She always acts like she's
the boss. But she doesn't know better. There are times I have to tell her to mind her own business."
(大姐大二號的問題可大了,她老是愛指使人,好像她什麼都知道,好幾次我要叫她管自己就好.)
最有趣的是對話結束前,小男孩說當他把三個 quarters 還給大姐大一號的媽媽時,對方媽媽邀他去她們家游泳!
媽媽聽的嘴巴都歪掉了...小孩的世界果真弱肉強食.當大姐大們發現小男孩是個 tough 的狠角色後,
不但不再嘲笑他,反而對他友善並邀他去玩.怎麼回事呀?友誼就這樣建立了?
今晚的媽媽真是一團大問號在頭上盤旋!
