Thanksgiving break.  This year we headed North for the break.

Had so much fun seat-to-seat chating on the Virgin America plane.  Dad and B were doing math problems via texting.



The museum of flight in Seattle.  Nice museum but too bad it was rainy and cold that day (and the following days through out the trip)...

到達的當晚,我們去找學妹 K, 第一次面對面看到她的可愛寶貝 Cody. 三個小男孩在客廳爬上爬下.短短的相聚真讓人高興!

在好友家裡的第二晚,另一好友帶著四歲的女兒和兩個月多的小嬰兒來吃火鍋.結束後小女孩留下來 sleep over. 這兩個小朋友玩的真好.當天的孩子們分別是六歲,四歲,兩歲和兩個多月.

朋友的熱情招待,好友相聚,和超級豪華海陸火鍋, priceless!

睡前小男孩讀 bedtime story 給小女孩聽.





第二天早上在後院玩耍.要同時抓住三個可愛的笑容可真不是件容易的事情!



The kids were so cute playing together! 謝謝好友 B and M 收留我們兩晚,又餵我們許多好吃的食物! 說這趟是 gobbling trip 一點也不為過, and that's what Thanksgiving is about!



星期四感恩節跟兩家好友吃過 Thanksgiving lunch 後開車前往 Vancouver. Canadian Thanksgiving was in October. 但是姑姑擺滿了整桌好菜,鮭魚,火腿,和好喝的前湯.我不小心把水晶紅酒杯打破,紅酒在地毯上是第一名難洗的!

表妹 Myra 是一年級的老師,週五她的班上有 field trip, 我們一起跟去溫哥華水族館.



小男孩也領了一份作業,很起勁的做著.



這個水族館裡有很多讓小朋友近身觀察的地方.



這是我第一次看到的生物, Axolotl, nicknamed "chicken of the swamp", Amazon people really eat this?





We surely had a blast! 回家以後小男孩說, "Mommy, why do I have way more fun when we are travelling?" That's why we travel, sweetie!



在這個 mall 吃到超好吃的 Beard Papa's puffs, 回家後發現 San Jose 也有!



小男孩跟他的 favorite auntie Myra. 昨天我才知道 Myra 的好友 named her newborn's middle name "Bennett" because she heard it a lot!



抱大腿,小男孩好幾次脫口叫 Myra "Mom" 勒!



我姑姑也來參一腳.

感謝此行的好友和家人們的熱情招待.我們下次再去!來加州也別忘了找我們喔!
