聖誕節早上七點鐘不到小男孩就醒了,一直跑進我們的房間,要我們跟他下樓開禮物. He got bad hair today!
我們家的 Santa 一向是非常實際, stocking 裡都是些肥皂乳液牙膏牙線等實用的東西,他的 stocking 裡還有兩個 bakugan, 和一包糖果.爸爸的 stocking 裡有一包跟媽媽髮色相同的男性染髮劑, Santa 希望爸爸的頭髮換個顏色.
除了他要的 webkinz, Santa 送他一輛紅色的 scooter.
爸爸媽媽送了他一本之前在學校的 book fair 他想買的書.還有一個 Snap circuits Jr. (簡易電路板 kit).
還有不計其數的禮物,有 Auntie YinYin 送的 travel set scrabble, 爺爺奶奶送的 5x5 魔術方塊,公公婆婆送的 Connect 4, 姑婆送的籃球,乾爹送的 Guess who and Twister, 大姑姑送的 Leapster 2, 還有 Auntie Cathy 送的 parler bead set.
今年最大的大事,大概就是小男孩跟爸爸查看昨晚的錄影後,發現燈光太暗什麼都沒錄到. and I revealed the big secret. 我說,你可以問我任何關於 Santa 的問題.留留問我 "Did you put the present under the tree?" "Did you stuff the stockings?" "Did you play Santa for me?" 我給了他非常誠實的答案. and also made sure he doesn't go spread the news around and kill the fun for other kids.
Now what? The secret is out. "Now you know the truth, do you still want to see Santa and do the wish thing next year?", I asked. 小男孩說要! I told him feel free to believe whatever he wants to believe. He said he still believes in Santa, but "maybe Santa is not doing what we think he is doing." The good thing is his trust in us doesn't change after learning the fact that we have been hiding this from him for years.
At the end, Bennett asked if I stuffed my own stocking. After I said yes, he said "poor Mom, next year you can wake me up in the middle of the night and let me stuff your stocking!"

Have b ever seen this movie named 'the Polar Express'? Ellie and I just saw this movie over the weekend. It gives good answer about if Santa exists.
Yeah...a couple of times. He is a bit beyond that though.
