We've been reading Mary Poppins at bed time for quite a few days. Tonight B wanted to read something different. He handed me a book about governors and asked me to read it to him. While I was reading, he suddenly moved and bumped my head.
"Ouch! My head is so dizzy now! I can't read to you!", I said in pain.
"Well, life is like that. It's never perfect.", B responded.
Well well well...I hear you!

Last weekend when we were in the mountains, I got a call from one of my tenants and a key box resided outside their unit was missing. After making sure the spare key was not stored in the key box any more, I felt quite relieved and was glad there was no need for re-key the whole unit. What I didn't realize was Bennett was all ears the whole time.
When I was done with the phone, B asked a bunch of questions, "Mom, is your rental unit carpeted or hardwood floored?""Did it rain yesterday?""Do they have dogs?""How close are they to their neighbors?"
After getting all the answers he needed, he carefully declared, "Ok, now all they need to do is use a magnifying glasses to find the foot prints, trace the foot prints and let their dog smell the trace too!"
Yes Detective Bennett!
(He has been reading lots of mystery books and definitely got lots of ideas!)

我覺得這可以是一個很不錯的故事接龍耶~ 就是說給了這樣一個預設的真實情況,留留小偵探如何找回遺失的 key box 的故事,呵~
是呀是呀!
