You know what...I am so behind on things.  My best friend from grad school Faraz came for a visit in March and I have not even got time to put it nicely together!  Well, I guess I am slowing turning this blog to a photo blog with a few comments.  I guess that will do too.

Faraz came for a five day stay at our house.  He arrived on a Thursday.  On Friday after dropping Iona off at the home care, I took him to the memorial church tour at Stanford.  The tour was about an hour long.  The guide was a silver-haired lady in her 50-60s.  She sited lots of bible stories to talk about the wall and window mosaics which I had not much knowledge about but I enjoyed it.









The big organ in the back.  I was told the church offers free organ music every once in a while to the public.  Gonna find one to attend one day.

Since we are all geeky people, we like to see big names than the artistic mosaics.  We actually had a free lunch at Google with some other friends who work there.
