Last Tuesday we had a parent teacher conference with Iona's teachers. Hear what they talked about our little angel.
Iona is our official "class greeter". She is so friendly. She makes social contact with all the children in xxx. She seems to have a special affinity towards Jake, William and Noa, to name a few. Iona loves babies, house area, dress-up (shoes!) and puzzles. She also loves books and vehicles. Her least favorite activity is messy art, although she gives it a try. Iona loves the slide. At the beginning she would only go down once we held her hands, now she goes down independently. She has also mastered climbing our outdoor "ladder".
Areas need to be encouraged: We will continue to offer Iona "messy" opportunities!
Before our conference Bennett joked, "so will they tell you that Iona gets a A in doing the slide, and a B on strolling the babies?" See, once a kid learns how letter grade works and what a parent-teacher conference is all about there is no fun anymore. Compared to the formal setup with Bennett's conference, I am so glad that I have this cute and short conference to appreciate!
